More About Our Cause!
Surviving The Storm is my opportunity to raise awareness about mental health wellbeing and the impact certain conditions cause.
This community is also a safe space for survivors to share their truth in a non-judgemental environment.
I am a firm believer in the power of peer support and that the right mentor can help you begin a more mindful way of life.
Working as an allied health professional during the pandemic has been extremely challenging.
The plus side of being overwhelmed is finding positive solutions to improve well-being.
I was aware that there are many ways to de-stress such as, breathing exercises, meditation, yoga or listening to podcasts. But my personal favourites have always been escaping into an interesting book or scribbling down my thoughts.
And thus my journey to blogging began!
I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s roller-coaster world!
Take pride in your personality, your sense of humour, and most importantly your heart.
All of these elements brought me to start this community.
So, have fun browsing, learn about my passions, my opinions, check out guest bloggers from across the world, and see what may interest you as well!
